Police appeal over mobility scooter crash in Dumfries

Police have appealed for witnesses to a road accident in Dumfries involving a mobility scooter.

A 60-year-old woman was knocked off the scooter and received minor injuries in the crash.

The scooter was also damaged in the collision with a red Honda Civic at a pedestrian crossing in St Michael Street at 07:30 on Thursday.

The 61-year-old woman who driving the car was not hurt.
