A senior official at Aberdeenshire Council who was investigated amid claims of bullying in his department is to leave his post.
Education director Bruce Robertson went on leave while the council investigated allegations about the leadership and management style in his department.
The council and Mr Robertson released a joint statement stating he would leave at the end of August.
It said the department's service had improved under his direction.
