One of Europe's largest annual gatherings of Harley Davidson motorcycles and their riders has begun in the Highlands.
Thunder in the Glens could see as many as 5,000 bike owners arrive in Aviemore over Saturday and Sunday.
The event is hosted by Edinburgh's Dunedin Chapter of Harley Davidson owners.
Hundreds of bike enthusiasts were also expected to head for Aviemore to see the gathering.
