Body found during search for Stefan Sutherland

A body has been found during a search for a missing 25-year-old Caithness man Stefan Sutherland.

Police said the discovery was made by a member of the public on the shoreline near Occumster at about 12:17.

A police spokesman said the body has not been indentified. Mr Sutherland's family has been informed.

Mr Sutherland was reported missing from Lybster on 6 September. Police, search dogs and a mountain rescue team have been involved in searches for him.
