Samantha Cameron campaigning in Rochester and Strood with Conservative candidate Kelly Tolhurst
David Cameron's wife Samantha has made her first solo outing of the general election campaign.
Mrs Cameron went to Rochester and Strood, the Kent constituency being defended by UKIP's Mark Reckless.
She said her husband did not seem "too nervous" ahead of Thursday's live televised election debate against six other party leaders.
Together with Conservative candidate Kelly Tolhurst, she visited a special educational needs school.

The Conservatives are keen to win the seat back after Mr Reckless defected to UKIP last September. In a by-election in November he won the seat by 2,920 votes.
Asked about Mrs Cameron's trip to Rochester and Strood, he told the BBC: "I wouldn't really want to comment on the prime minister's wife."
On her solo trip to the constituency, Mrs Cameron went to Abbey Court School in Rainham, a school for pupils aged three to 19 with severe learning difficulties.

Asked about her husband's state of mind ahead of Thursday's ITV debate, she said: "He doesn't seem too nervous but I have to say I'm very glad that it's him that's doing it and not me."
