May: migration curbs will not be extended
Home secretary Theresa May has confirmed that Bulgarians and Romanians will gain the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK from December 2013.
Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show, May said that under EU law it was not possible to extend the current temporary curbs but she was hoping to limit the impact on the UK economy.
