Police were called to Stephen Street
Two teenage girls have been arrested after a woman died in Hartlepool, police said.
The woman's body was discovered on Tuesday morning at a property in Stephen Street.
Officers said they were treating the death as suspicious and a post-mortem examination would now take place.
The Cleveland force asked anyone with information to contact them or to speak anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity.
