Mother and daughter killed on A5 crash in Weston named

Police have named a mother and teenage daughter who died in a five-car crash in Staffordshire.

Diane McGrail, 53, and Kira Elizabeth McGrail, 14, were passengers in a black Seat Ibiza which crashed on the A5 near Weston Park on Monday.

Both were from the Oakley area of Market Drayton in Shropshire.

The 17-year-old male driver, also a member of the same family, remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital, Staffordshire Police said.

A 40-year-old man from Telford arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving remains on bail.
