Plans for up to 10,000 new homes in Staffordshire have been put online as part of a public consultation.
Stafford Borough Council is seeking people's views on development plans within its boundaries up to 2031.
The council has estimated that 500 new homes need to be built every year to cope with the borough's housing demand.
It has asked people to suggest where the new homes should go and has also invited views on land it has identified for potential new business development.
The Local Choices, external consultation runs until noon on 28 January 2011.
People can view the document online via the council's website and leave comments. The plans can also be seen in local libraries and at the Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford.
