Ikea said the store would create hundreds of jobs in Sheffield
Plans for South Yorkshire's first Ikea store are to go on show in Sheffield.
The company wants to redevelop a derelict industrial site near Meadowhall on Sheffield Road.
A two-day exhibition is being held at the Millennium Galleries before the firm submits a planning application for the store.
If planning is approved 400 jobs would become available in sales, interior design, IT, food, warehousing and customer services, Ikea said.
The company said it had been looking for a large enough site in South Yorkshire for many years.
