A public meeting over the development of up to 200 new homes is to be held in a Northamptonshire village later.
Developers claim the homes at Woodford Halse near Daventry will help meet the county's housing targets.
But some villagers said existing roads are not adequate for the increased traffic and drains would overflow.
Others believe the project could bring improvements to the infrastructure as developers are including open spaces and improved the roads in the plans.
The meeting will be held on Thursday evening at the village's Memorial Hall.
