A man jailed for biting a chunk out of another man's ear had his conviction overturned after an appeal.
Steven Pellowe, 44, of Currier Lane, Ashton-Under-Lyne was found guilty of grievous bodily harm at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court in 2011.
It was alleged the attack happened at a birthday party in a pub beer garden.
Mr Pellowe appealed and a retrial was ordered by the Court of Appeal in July 2013. The prosecution offered no evidence and he was found not guilty in August.
