A patient has been charged with common assault after a medical technician was attacked inside an ambulance.
The ambulance worker fell after he was punched in the face as he responded to a 999 call in Blackfriars, Salford on Tuesday at 04:00 BST.
A patient then got out of the ambulance on Trinity Way, Salford.
Akinwunmi Peter Akinyuwa, 29, of Greengate West, Salford, will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on 5 November.
North West Ambulance Service director of operations Derek Cartwright said it was called to a patient who was choking on his own vomit.
