
A post-mortem examination found that Mr Steele died from stab wounds
A man has been charged with the murder of a Salford care worker who was stabbed on New Year's Day.
Adam Steele, 23, from Irlams O' Th' Height, was injured in a fight at the junction of Lancaster Road and Orient Road in Salford.
He was taken to hospital but died soon afterwards from stab wounds.
Police said Owen Roche, 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder and is due to appear before Salford magistrates on Friday.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with murder in January.
