
The Met Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command is treating the death as suspicious
Detectives are treating the discovery of a body in a north London canal as suspicious.
Officers found a body submerged in the Regents Canal in Islington at about 09:00 BST on 24 September.
A post-mortem examination will be held on the body at a north London Hospital. The body is believed to be that of a man, but his identity is unknown.
The Met Police's Homicide and Major Crime Command is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
