A former police sergeant who worked for Lincolnshire's roads policing unit has been charged with drinking and driving.

Craig Dunderdale was arrested in Lincoln on 17 December, during a Christmas anti drink-driving campaign run by Lincolnshire Police.

The 41-year-old was off duty when he was stopped at about 22:45 GMT.

He has since resigned from Lincolnshire Police. He will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court later this month.
