Braintree woman in 80s dies in two-car collision on A120

A woman in her 80s has died in a two-car collision in Essex.

The woman from Braintree, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, died at the scene on the A120 at 11:00 GMT on Friday.

A 27-year-old woman from East London, who was driving a Mercedes A180 was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge suffering from serious but non life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened between the Coggeshall and Marks Tey junction.
