Parents Graham and Lisa Wilson, from Hornchurch, and sister Pippa paid tribute to their "perfect son and brother"
The death of a 22-year-old hockey player who was struck on the head with a stick during practice was an accident, an inquest has found.
Tom Wilson was hit on the head while training at the Old Loughtonians Hockey Club in Chigwell, Essex, on 8 December.
He was taken to hospital but died the following day, the inquest at the Essex Coroner's Court heard.
His parents Graham and Lisa Wilson and sister Pippa paid tribute to their "perfect son and brother".
Mrs Wilson, from Hornchurch, told the BBC: "He was a beautiful boy."
She said Tom, who lived in a flat near London Bridge, had been put on a register of transplant donators at Nottingham Trent University and his organs had helped more than 20 people.
