An investigation has started into the cause of the fire at the block of flats
A fire broke out on the ninth floor of a block of flats in St Austell.
The blaze erupted in the 12-storey Park House residential flats at about 19:30 BST.
There have been no reports of injuries among residents who were evacuated from the flats. They were being "assisted" by fire officers.
Eleven fire engines were sent to the scene. Firefighters were "damping down" and an investigation has started into the cause.
