
Mohammad Ismaeel Ashraf died of a suspected allergic reaction
A nine-year-old boy who died at a school of a suspected allergic reaction has been named.
Mohammad Ismaeel Ashraf, known as Ismaeel, collapsed at Al Hijrah School in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, on Friday.
He was taken to Heartlands Hospital where he later died.
Det Ch Insp Edward Foster from West Midlands Police said: "We continue to support the family during this tragic time."

The pupils are being offered counselling following the boy's death
He said the force is working with the school and other partners "to piece together exactly what happened".
A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out soon.
The school said it "had been left in great shock" by Ismaeel's sudden death.
In a statement the school said he "was a very popular member of the class and will be missed by everyone who knew him".
