Claire McKenzie is believed to have been killed in a hit and run crash
The parents of a woman killed in a suspected hit-and-run crash have paid tribute to their "beautiful fun-loving daughter".
Claire McKenzie, 35, was found in Sutton New Road, Erdington, Birmingham, in the early hours of Friday.
Police believe she was struck by a vehicle and officers have been trying to trace the driver.
A statement from Ms McKenzie's parents said they needed time to grieve.
Sgt Alan Wood from West Midlands Police said: "The driver did not stop and we are appealing for that person to do the right thing and come forward and put across their side of the story."
