Jo Brandon released an image of the injury she suffered after the brick was thrown
A teenager has come forward to police after a woman was injured by a brick thrown through a Birmingham bus window.
The 14-year-old contacted police after media reports of Tuesday evening's attack, West Midlands Police said.
He went to his local station with his mother and will be interviewed at a later date.
Jo Brandon, 41, was left with a fractured skull as she was struck while sitting downstairs on the number 18 double-decker bus in Northfield.
She had to stay in hospital overnight, but has since returned home.
Police say they will visit Ms Brandon to take an official statement.
