A bus service will replace trains between Saturday night and Tuesday morning
Passengers have been warned of severe disruption over the weekend on the rail network between Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Telford.
Engineering work is due to close the line between 22:35 BST on Saturday until early on Tuesday morning, when it is due to return to normal.
Network Rail said the closure was to allow crews to upgrade signalling and level crossings.
A replacement bus service will be in operation until the work is finished.
