An artist's interpretation of the new college building at King's Lynn
Building work has started on a £35m revamp of the College of West Anglia's campuses in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Two new technology blocks are being built on the Tennyson Avenue site in King's Lynn and Isle College campus in Wisbech.
The tower block on the King's Lynn site is also being overhauled.
The work is set to be completed by 2016. For the next year, students will continue being taught in other buildings in the local areas.
Sports students will be relocated to the Lynnsport Leisure Centre, while health and social care and childhood studies classes will be moved to the Alderman Jackson School in King's Lynn.
College principal David Pomfret said the temporary building arrangements would not hinder the students' progress.
