Trust to take over children's services in Birmingham

Birmingham's children's services are to be run by a voluntary trust after a string of tragic cases involving the deaths of children across the city.

The department has been branded a "national disgrace" by Ofsted.

This year a review was ordered into the case of 18-month old Keegan Downer who was badly beaten before she died.
