Default retirement age scrapped allowing people to work beyond 65

From 6 April people in England, Wales and Scotland will be able to work beyond the age of 65, without their employers having the right to force them out of their job.

The government is phasing out the default retirement age, meaning that employers will have to justify why they are asking an employee to retire, should that person want to continue working.
