Urban Outfitters has reportedly put Halsey's new album on sale in some stores three days ahead of its official release date.

Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is available everywhere else on Friday.

Halsey's debut album, 2015's Badlands, was also released in error by the same shop - on that occasion it was sent to customers three weeks early.

The latest album is available as a limited edition vinyl version, with some fans driving for miles to get it.

After the early release of her debut album, one fan uploaded Badlands online and a version made its way into shops before the 28 August 2015 release date.

At the time, Halsey tweeted to Urban Outfitters: "You leak my album 2 weeks early + now sell physical copies in store 3 days before release? What kind of company are you?"

She deleted the tweet shortly afterwards.

There's been no comment yet from Urban Outfitters.
