Richard Ashcroft is second headliner on Sunday 1 July at the Kent festival
Richard Ashcroft is to play at his only UK show of 2012 at this summer's Hop Farm Festival in Kent.
The former Verve front man tops a list of new additions to the line-up, which also includes The Futureheads and British Sea Power.
The festival takes place at Paddock Wood, Kent, from 29 June to 1 July and has a policy of no branding or sponsorship.
Other acts already announced for the event include Bob Dylan and Suede.
The three-day festival features four music stages and a comedy stage.
The first Hop Farm took place in 2008 and last year saw the first UK festival performance from Prince.
