Wayne Rooney needs to stay strong and keep his personal problems off the pitch tonight (7 September) as England take on Switzerland in their latest Euro 2012 qualifier.
England coach Fabio Capello says starting Rooney could ensure he forgets "any problems" caused by tabloid claims he cheated on his pregnant wife last year with a prostitute.
The England boss went on to say: "You have to divide different moments; private life and job."
He added: "It is important to stay with the players, to play. For the players, to play is a fantastic moment."
Fans verdict
England fans have been riding the trams to get to get to the bars in Basle's famous Barfüsserplatz.
It seems they've all arrived with three things: An England shirt, a beer in their hand and an opinion on Wayne Rooney.

Rooney helped England to a comfortable 4-0 win over Hungary
Most would rather be reading about him on the back pages, not the front pages.
They just don't care what he does off the field.
Few think he should be dropped because of all the claims.
Asked about Rooney's state of mind one fan told Newsbeat: "It'll probably worry him. But when he's on the field, nothing else matters."
Another England supporter reckons all the headlines could give Rooney a boost.
"He's got something to prove again, I can see him scoring a couple of goals tonight."
