Vince Adu

Name?

Vince Adu.

How old are you?

21.

Where do you live?

Bristol.

What do you do?

I am a businessman and entrepreneur. I have my own small clothing label and I also make short films.

Kids?

No.

Why haven't you voted before?

I wasn’t old enough.

What do you think of politicians?

I am suspicious of them all. I make no distinction between them on that. I used to work in sales and I know a sales technique when I see it. They just try to pitch and sell. Plus it’s all filtered through the media anyway. We never get a chance to make a direct criticism to them.

How do you feel about voting?

I am completely undecided. But I want to use the next few weeks to figure out who to vote for.

What's the big issue for you in this election?

Secrets, openness; what you might call transparency. They – the politicians – make decisions and ignore public opinion.

What's the first thing you'd do as Prime Minister?

Open up all the secrets. I dont expect our politicians to be perfect but how can we make fair judgements if they don’t open up?
