Name?
James Dudill.
How old are you?
33.
Where do you live?
Rotherham in South Yorkshire.
What do you do?
I'm an electrician at a power plant. I'm also a shop steward for Unite the Union, which means I look after workers' welfare, make sure they get the right wages, things like that.
Kids?
No.
Why haven't you voted before?
I've always had a job, so I've always had an income. I've never really had any problems, so I've never seen the point in voting. And I've always thought other people's votes would be more important to them - elderly people, single mums, people like that.
What's the big issue for you in this election?
The major thing is the crisis with the economy. British jobs for British workers would sway me.
The project I'm working on at the moment, there are 2,000 men on it and only about 700 or 800 British workers. Off the back of the recession, we should look after our own workers.
What's the first thing you'd do as Prime Minister?
I'd like to get all those lazy so-and-so's who lie in bed all day out of bed and get them out doing some work.
If everybody's putting in, then everyone's getting paid. I just think it would go a long way towards solving a lot of the country's problems.
