    A UUP motion calling on the education minister to review his decision to support the establishment of an Irish-medium secondary school in Dungiven has been defeated in the assembly having failed to attract cross-community support.

    To help ease congestion due to the ongoing security alert at Sydenham Bypass, traffic heading towards Belfast from Bangor is advised to leave the A2 Belfast road at Holywood, at the Church road junction.

    From here, it is possible to travel towards Belfast by continuing along the B170, Ballymiscaw road, then to Belmont road and then on to the A55 outer ring road at Parkway.
