Former Red Or Dead designer Wayne Hemingway, external is backing a project to set up a new one-day festival in Lowestoft based around the longest day.

The idea is part of the South Beach Vision Project, which Mr Hemingway has been advising on after he was invited to the town by Waveney District Council, external and other local organisations.

Details have yet to be fleshed out, but the seafront area would be "zoned" for music and DJs, film, photography, dance, stargazing and food.

The Irishman's 27 league goal haul during the 2014-15 campaign inspired Mick McCarthy's side all the way to the Championship play-offs.

Today McCarthy's been telling us that Murphy, 34, will undoubtedly pose a threat this weekend.

"We sold him to Newcastle and they barely used him. But I saw a couple of games when they brought him on, and he changed those games because of his physical presence and quality," said McCarthy.

"He's a senior citizen compared to some of the Forest lads, but he's a good focal point from which to play off and he still gets his goals."

BBC Radio Suffolk will have full commentary of Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest in Matchday tomorrow afternoon from 14:00.

  6. Town must make do without Garner againpublished at 16:24 GMT 1 December 2017

The 29-year-old is still struggling with the foot injury that caused him to withdraw from Tuesday's fixture at Derby County late in the day.

Speaking at today's pre-match press conference, Town boss Mick McCarthy told us he is reasonably confident that Garner will be available when the Blues travel to Middlesbrough next weekend.

"It's just a matter of resting up and fingers crossed he'll be OK for the next one," McCarthy said.

"Unfortunately when he put his boot on the other day his foot was too sore. So at the moment he's not fit to play."

    What a lovely-looking bunch, we're sure you'll agree.

Industry experts, including critics, broadcasters, DJs, and - for the first time - former nominees including Stormzy, Ellie Goulding and last year's winner Ray BLK, have put their heads together to come up with just 16 names from across the genres.

    2) Harry Styles can rock a purple shiny suit like no-one else

Very few pop stars could pull of that particular suit (above), let alone combine it with a pair of gold square-toed brogues.

Only joking, he looks like he lost a fight with a Quality Street tin (other brands are available)

Harry was on dazzling form Down Under though, performing and picking up his award for best international male at the Aria awards.

The unofficial most outlandishly-dressed artist also gave fellow performer Lorde a big squeeze on the way to collecting his gong at the Aussie equivalent of the Brits.

    3) What the new Brit award looks like

    How smooth was that transition?

Celebrated British sculptor Anish Kapoor has unveiled his design for next year's Brit awards.

He follows in the footsteps of the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Peter Blake, Tracey Emin, Pam Hogg and Zaha Hadid.

His award is pretty striking looking, a sort of negative of the traditional award encased in red perspex.

"Sculpture is often a process of positive and negative form. I have made the award using both,” he said in a statement.

See. That's what we said, wasn't it?

    4) The Grammys snubbed Ed Sheeran & A Tribe Called Quest

Jay-Z topped the Grammy nominations this week with eight mentions but Ed Sheeran missed out big time on being shortlisted for any of the major awards,

His multi-million selling album ÷ was excluded from the main categories: Best album, record and song.

Sheeran did receive several nominations in the pop categories, however.

We don't know yet what Ed made of it all but it's quite clear what Q-Tip thought about this year's shortlist. The rapper was raging that his band A Tribe Called Quest were overlooked.

In a series of expletive-filled posts on Instagram - which we obviously can't bring you here but are easy enough to find - a clearly upset Tip (below) said: “I’m sick of y’all."

    Q-TipImage source, Getty Images

"You got us to get out there to perform last year and y’all don’t give us no ******* nominations? What happened?” he added.

In other award news, Stormzy cleaned up at The Mobos, collecting a hat-trick of awards for best male, best grime act and best album.

His missus Maya Jama presented the bash in Leeds, which saw Stefflon Don the only female to pick up an award.

Elsewhere, the Brits Critics' Choice list was the total opposite, with all three artists shortlisted being women...namely; Jorja Smith, Mabel & Stefflon once again.

    Don by name...

No room in our top 5 this week for Jay-Z admitting to cheating on wife Beyonce (he doesn't deserve a mention for that).

    5) Call The Shots is officially THE BEST Girls Aloud song

    According to you lot.

The UK's biggest-selling girl band of the 21st Century turned 15 years old yesterday.

The girls posted online (above) that they couldn't believe where the time had gone.

We asked you for your favourite musical moments from their career and while it was hotly-contested one track (below) emerged as the clear winner...
