I've just had clarification from Notts Police that the southbound side is open but it'll take a while for the traffic to clear.
Although with traffic being less busy at this time of night hopefully that shouldn't take too long.

We've not had any updates from Derbyshire Police for a few hours now.
All we know so far is a woman died in Borrowash at 11:00
This is being linked to an incident on the M1, which has closed the motorway in both directions.

Michael Nightingale, a neighbour from Station Road, said: "I have lived here for ten years and I have never seen anything like this. I don't really know what's gone off.
"But he ran into the flower shop and he had stab wounds over his face, the young lad. He ran over the road - that's where they wrapped him up. He was shouting help me, help me."

It's still closed but the trapped traffic is being released, a Highways England spokesman has told us.
He said they will let us know when the carriageway does re-open.
