    Two more people have been charged with the murder of Tony Fisher, external, who died at his home in Carlton in January.

    Jaydon Barton and Nathan Barton, both 22, will appear before magistrates tomorrow.

    Marcus Barton, 41, was charged with Mr Fisher’s murder in January and remains in custody.

    The re-elected Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner Paddy Tipping speaking after his win was announced.

    "It has been a privilege to be police and crime commissioner for the past three and a half years, and even more of a privilege to be offered another four years."

    He told me he was "excited" but faced some "big budget challenges" over the next four years.

    He said he would be looking forward to a weekend off before they made some big announcements on Monday.

    The sound of an air raid siren might unnerve some people on Sunday afternoon but there’s no cause for alarm.

    It will be used to begin a minute’s silence marking the 75th anniversary of a World War Two air raid in which 200 people were killed.

    Among them were 12 firefighters, or civil defence personnel, who gave their lives to bring fires under control across Nottingham, Sneinton, Carlton, Colwick and West Bridgford.

    We're with Notts boss Mark Cooper who says a good result tomorrow wouldn't necessarily see him get a new contract.

    Talking about the links that have been made to Forest Green Rovers he said he was under contract until tomorrow with Notts.

     "You have to cover all bases. If I don't hit the target and get offered nothing here, I'm out of work," he said.

    I met Erin McDaid from Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust at Bunny Old Wood.

    "They are a traditional woodland species and that's why we have to protect them," he said.

    He said there was a worry the Spanish bluebells was integrating into woodland and taking over from the native species.

    There will be an open day at Bunny on Sunday if you want to go and see the bluebells for yourself.

  10. Forest embargo lift 'good news' - Fawazpublished at 16:19 BST 6 May 2016

    Forest chairman and owner, Fawaz Al Hasawi, said it was "good news" the embargo on the club will be lifted.

    The Reds were stopped from paying transfer fees in December 2014 for breaching Financial Fair Play rules for the 2013-14 season.

    If you have bluebells in your garden, they're likely to be in full bloom at the moment, but what you might not know, is that they may well be a foreign invader!

    Spanish bluebells are becoming more and more common now and some are spreading to Nottinghamshire's woodland too.

    I've been along to Bunny Old Wood, just off the A60, which is one location renowned for its native bluebell display.

    For those who don't know what that means ...a candidate pays a deposit to stand in an election which is repaid if they get a specified percentage of votes. 

    For the PCC election the deposit was £5,000.

    Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue have been tackling a house fire in Watnall Road, Hucknall this afternoon.

    They tweeted, external that the fire was now out but it had started in the roof and solar panels on the house.
