That amount of people generates quite a lot of rubbish...
...and due to a combination of the bins being unable to cope and some people who didn't dispose of it properly, Skegness is feeling the effects today

NHS England says it's been exploring a range of options but there are no local providers able to offer a service as they haven't been able to recruit the qualified dentists needed.
The Conservative Party says it has suspended a Lincolnshire Councillor pending an investigation - following a Tweet he made saying that the Labour leader "should be swinging from the gallows like Saddam Hussein."
Councillor Roger Patterson, who is the president of the Gainsborough Conservative Association, deleted the Tweet and apologised the following day.

The BBC has spoken to Mr Patterson who repeated his apology to Mr Corbyn and "anybody who was offended by it" and said "It was a stupid off the cuff remark. I regretted it the moment I said it."

They'll offer advice to tourists and residents, as well as advising other beach hut owners on how to protect their properties during the winter months.

Lincolnshire Police say they're "looking into" a tweet by a Lincolnshire councillor which said Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn "should swing from the gallows".
Conservative councillor Roger Patterson, who is also president of the Gainsborough Conservative Association, has since deleted the post and apologised.
Lincolnshire Police say they received a report about the tweet from a member of the public.

A Lincolnshire Conservative district councillor who called Jeremy Corbyn a "traitor" did the right thing by publicly apologising, according to the county's Police and Crime Commissioner.
Councillor Roger Patterson, who is also president of the Gainsborough Conservative Association, tweeted earlier this week that the Labour leader "should swing from the gallows".
He later removed the comment and tweeted an apology the next day.
Marc Jones, who is a member of the Gainsborough Conservative Association as well as a number of others in the county, says apologising was clearly the right thing to do:

A new policing college is to be launched in Lincoln, it's been announced.

Students will also learn skills to enter police support roles, including emergency call handlers.
It's being set up by Lincolnshire Police and Lincoln College and will open in September.

The RNLI says its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have had to rescue a total of eight people from the sea so far this week along the Lincolnshire coast.

The latest were three children who were caught in a rip tide in Mablethorpe.
It follows an operation on Wednesday where three people had to be saved from being swept out to sea on inflatables.
It's thought the hot temperatures saw about 11,000 people enjoy the sunshine on Skegness beach yesterday.
With water around our coasts hotting up in the heatwave, people on the Lincolnshire coast are being advised to look out for Weever fish on the beaches:

Over the last few days, several people in Lincolnshire have reported being stung by them.
