A man and woman who died at a caravan park in Mansfield have been named, external.
The pair were found injured by paramedics who were called to Old Mill Lane in Forest Town just after 22:00 yesterday. They died a short time later.
Police identified them as Richard Thompson, 66, of Old Mill Lane, Forest Town, and his niece, Lisa Butler, 48, of Mansfield.

Det Insp Rich Monk, who is leading the investigation, said: "Post mortems are taking place this evening to establish the exact cause of death.
"However, following our initial investigations, we now believe this is an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
"Our investigation will continue to establish the full circumstances and we are liaising with the family to offer them support following this tragic incident."

A cafe that opened less than six months ago has picked up three nominations, external in the Derby Food and Drink Awards.
Bear, on Iron Gate, earned nods in the Best Cafe, Best Newcomer and Best Customer Service categories.
Indian restaurant Masala also picked up three nominations and there were nods for Lorentes, The Exeter Arms and Rowley's.
The winners in each category will be announced at a ceremony organised by Marketing Derby on 8 October.
Image source, BearA Nottingham woman says passengers were left frustrated after two young cyclists pulled wheelies in front of her bus for several miles on Monday.
Corrina Stevenson said the boys blocked her bus on its journey from Ruddington to Trent Bridge.
She said: "The video shows nothing compared to what it was really like. I wish I had filmed all of it.".
A spokesman for Nottingham City Transport said: “Our drivers have to contend with many issues on the roads and thankfully idiotic actions like this are exceptionally rare.
"The driver handled the situation exceptionally well and has been commended by their manager for remaining calm and ensuring his customers and the cyclists were kept safe throughout.”
Nottinghamshire Police said they encourage people to report incidents like this.

A 74-year-old man has been jailed for three-and-a-half years, external after being found guilty of sexually abusing two young girls in the 1980s and 1990s.
David Woodward, of Cawston Gardens, Bulwell, was convicted of two offences of indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years and gross indecency with a girl under 14.

"The offences have had a lifelong impact on the girls he abused and they have only recently felt able to come forward. Thanks to their courage Woodward must now face up to his horrific actions."

A new piece of artwork celebrating 100 years of women’s suffrage has been chosen by a town in Leicestershire.
Derek Hunt has been commissioned to design the artwork marking the milestone, which will be installed at the Symington Building in Market Harborough.

“You’re going to end up with a 3D glass sculpture, which really is going to be vibrant and colourful.
“It’s a great thing to celebrate, so it was a real honour to be asked to contribute to that. I’m delighted my design was chosen.”

An 18-year-old woman has been reliving the moment a man tried to drag her into his car as she walked to work in Wirksworth.
Natalie Bowler was attacked after walking past a large silver car with a foreign number plate in Oakerthorpe Road at about 05:30 on 20 August.
She told BBC Radio Derby: "Out of nowhere this guy came from behind and bear-hugged me. He was speaking in a foreign language and tried to drag me back.
"I was a bit shocked but my initial reaction was to get him off so I elbowed backwards and it broke his grip.
"I turned round and faced him and when he realised he couldn't do anything else, he got in his car and drove off."

"When I realised how easy he was to fight off, I had to laugh. He had no chance - what was he thinking trying to get me in his car?
"But if it was someone else - smaller or younger - he could easily have done it."

A teenage girl was taken to hospital with minor injuries after she was hit by a bus in Leicester earlier.
The road has now reopened, according to Leicestershire Police.

A pedestrian hit by a bus just outside the entrance to the Haymarket shopping centre in Leicester has now been taken to hospital.
An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they sent two ambulances to the scene and took a patient to Leicester Royal Infirmary.
