A court's heard that the Nottinghamshire mother who went missing, with her two young sons, made false allegations against their father.
A judge said Samantha Baldwin's claims that he'd abused the boys weren't true, and she also gave them drugs to try to prove her claims.
Image source, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE POLICEJudge Jeremy Lea said people needed to know some essential facts because there has been so much "ill-informed speculation".
Samantha has since been arrested on suspicion of abduction and released on bail.
Today, the judge revealed that while he was making a ruling on how much contact their father was allowed, she took the boys away.
He also said that the father "had not perpetrated sexual, physical or emotional abuse against the boys, as alleged by their mother".
And he added she genuinely believed he had done so, but the belief was "irrational".

Do you remember this monkey that used to do somersaults in the Broadmarsh?

It was in the Gordon Scott window which moved out of the shopping centre several years ago. When the shop shut recently we didn't know where the monkey had gone.
Until now.
It turns out Charlie - who is actually a chimp not a monkey - moved to the Brewhouse Yard Museum, but there's no case big enough to display him.
And now there's a campaign to get him back in the Broadmarsh.
Quote MessageThe monkey came here in 2014 when it moved from Broadmarsh centre to outside. His name's Charlie the chimp - he is in remarkable condition considering he was swinging around that branch consistently for 40 years. I think it's amazing that he is still going. The reason we keep him is because of his importance to Nottingham and because he matters.
