BBC Local LiveOn this day of publication of the Chilcot Report into the Iraq War, Harborough MP Sir Edward Garnier has been reflecting on the period leading up to the conflict.
"I remember being persuaded by Tony Blair's speech in the House of Commons," Sir Edward told BBC Radio Leicester.
"It was a very effective oratory and then over the course of the next 18 months it became clear we perhaps hadn't been told the entire truth."

Det Ch Insp Mick Graham, who is leading the investigation, said: "Our enquiries are continuing today, with officers working in the park.
