    Claudio Ranieri is sounding worried about the second half of the season.

    He says he doesn't know if they'll be able to sustain their "high tempo football" but says they'll "give it a good go".

    Flood alerts in place, external for Leicestershire this evening are for:

    • River Wreake and tributaries from Stapleford to the River Soar at Syston
    • Lower River Soar in Leicestershire including tributaries from Cossington to Redhill at the River Trent
    • Black Brook, Wood Brook, Burleigh Brook, Grace Dieu Brook and other urban watercourses in Loughborough
  8. Wind blowing down trees across the countypublished at 17:06

    Leicestershire County Council has told us they've been dealing with nine trees blown down across the county. 

    Rutland County Council says its highways department had to close four roads in the county this afternoon at different times, to clear fallen trees.

    I've just been speaking to Western Power Distribution about a power cut in Mowsley Husbands Bosworth this afternoon.

    There were 900 properties without power for 11 minutes.

    It's thought this could have been down to the high winds.

  10. Vandals smash baby Jesuspublished at 16:40

    Police are looking for the vandals that stole a figure of the baby Jesus from a church nativity scene and smashed it to pieces.

    The figure had been part of a full scale display at the Holy Cross Priory in Leicester.

    It was the first time the church had featured an outdoor display, which contained traditional ceramic figures.

  11. Fire cordon expected to be lifted laterpublished at 16:23

    The police cordon around the area of Ross Walk, Moorgate Street and Marjorie Street in Belgrave is expected to be lifted this afternoon to allow people back into their homes.

    The cordon was in place while an investigation was carried out into the cause of the fire.

    Demolition of the burnt out factory has begun and is expected to last for a few days.

  12. Woman hit by bus in Leicesterpublished at 16:07

    A woman has been taken to hospital, after being hit by a bus in Leicester this afternoon. 

    It happened on Charles Street just after 14:00.

    Her injuries aren't believed to be life threatening at this stage.

    The fire service have just told our reporter Emily Anderson they believe the cause of the huge fire in Belgrave on Monday was an electrical fault in one of the units.
