Image source, Danny ColeFriends and family of a man who died after suffering self-inflicted knife wounds and being Tasered by police have paid tribute to him.
Marc Cole (pictured right), 30, from Falmouth, Cornwall, who died on 23 May, was described as having a "great sense of humour" and a "heart of gold".
His brother, Danny Cole (pictured left), told The Falmouth Packet, external the dad-of-two had not been trying to kill himself when police were called.
"He was well respected in the area and I have had over 400 messages from people - everyone knew my brother," Mr Cole said.
Painter and decorator Marc leaves behind his partner, Nadine Kinder, and their two sons: Caden, aged three, and Caleb, who is nearly one.
"He worshipped them, they were his life," Mr Cole said.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating his death and has appealed for witnesses.

Image source, East Devon District CouncilStaff at a Devon nature reserve have been able to record a reed warbler visiting the area during what's believed to be its ninth migration between Britain and Africa, East Devon District Council says.
The code on a ring on the bird's leg, which was put on by the Axe Estuary Ringing Group, revealed it was first caught on Seaton Wetlands as an adult in 2009.
The group ring birds for conservation monitoring purposes and have been active on the Axe Estuary reserves for more than 10 years.
Council reserves manager James Chubb said: "It is remarkable that this tiny little bird has made such an incredible journey not just once, but at least nine times, and each time we can be sure she is returning to the same small patch of reeds at Seaton Wetlands to feed and breed."

A Green Party general election candidate has been suspended by his party for openly encouraging people to vote Labour.
Josh Pope, 19, is standing in the Plymouth Moor View constituency, and said he is "disappointed but not surprised" to be suspended.

The price of metals is continuing to rise, giving renewed impetus to attempts to restart old mines in a handful of places across the region.
The company that's currently test-drilling for tin in east Cornwall has become one of the few firms of its type to turn a profit, although that's as a result of its mining overseas.
The price rises are historically significant. Tin prices are higher then they were through most of the 20th Century, with today's tin price about 40% higher than 1900 in real terms.
But even with these prices, it's far from easy to reopen an old mine. We've seen that at Hemerdon, near Plymouth. They've had quite bad technical teething problems and the tungsten price has been through a real wobble, but it is now moving quite steadily in the right direction.
Their investors keep funding them because they think they will make money.

Military personnel are increasingly dissatisfied with service life, according to the MoD's latest survey.
About 35% of those military personnel in the Army, Royal Navy and RAF who took part in the survey said they were dissatisfied with service life in general - that's up 4% from 2016. The survey also showed a fall in satisfaction with pay and service accommodation.
Overall there's been a decline in morale, with the biggest fall among Royal Marines.
However, 74% of those military personnel questioned, external still said they were proud to be in their service.
In Devon and Cornwall, military facilities in Plymouth alone include Devonport naval base, the headquarters of 3 Commando Brigade in Stonehouse and an Army base in the city's Citadel (pictured).
Cornwall is home to facilities including RNAS Culdrose and HMS Raleigh.

Goalkeeper Tom McHale says Truro City are capable of pushing for promotion from National League South next season.
McHale spent much of last term on loan at Weymouth, but impressed on his return and has signed a one-year deal.

"I think we've proved, as a young group of players, that we can kick it with the big boys in that league," he told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I do want to repay the club and see if we can get promoted this year, and I really think that there's an opportunity to do that with the squad we've got now."

Staff from the police watchdog have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries and gathering statements while investigating an incident where a man from Falmouth died after suffering self-inflicted knife injuries and having to be Tasered by police.
Thrity-year-old Marc Cole, of The Beacon in the town, died in hospital on Tuesday 23 May after police were called to Langton Road.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said it was gathering witness statements, including accounts from the officers involved, but added i was appealing for anyone else who saw what happened or had been in contact with Mr Cole to come forward.
IPCC Commissioner Cindy Butts said: "My thoughts are with Mr Cole's family and friends and anyone affected following this traumatic event. It is important we establish all of the circumstances surrounding police contact with Mr Cole prior to his death."

A group of budding entrepreneurs from the University of Exeter's Falmouth campus are hoping to launch a new product that could stop us running out of phone battery when out and about.
The 'Charged Up' is a portable battery that can be hired at major events to charge up your device at twice the speed.
Hakeem Buge (pictured left) is one of the founders of the project, and says they also plan to help charities in the developing world.
"We'll be giving part of our proceeds to energy charities in Africa. What they do is they give people in houses and little huts solar panels, so they will be able to have electricity at night so children can do their homework and families can charge their mobile phones as well."

People living in St Erth say they've been plagued by the smell coming from a sewage works in the village.
Mike Matthews, who has lived in St Erth for more than 60 years, said the smell had become unbearable in the last few weeks.
South West Water told us the recent spell of hot weather and the fact it was installing a new gas holder at the site had exacerbated the problem and it was trying hard to put it right.

A police officer who has admitted downloading child abuse images is to face a new allegation that he incited an under age girl to send him pictures of herself.
PC Jonathan Fulcher, who is currently suspended, may face a trial at Exeter Crown Court after the new charge was added to the five which he has already admitted.
His case has been adjourned until 6 July and he was released on bail.
PC Fulcher, 34, of High Road, Crediton, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to three counts of making indecent images of children, one of possession ammunition with a certificate, and one of possession of a noxious pava spray.
The new charge alleges he incited a child under 16 to engage in sexual activity and related to screenshots of an MSN Messenger conversation recovered from his computer.
Tom Bradnock, defending, said he will be asking for the new allegation to be dismissed when the case returns to court in July.
