Saturday will be a cloudier day than today, with the best of any brighter spells towards the west. Showery rain will affect some eastern parts, perhaps becoming heavy at times. Maximum Temperature: 21C (70F).

Roads around Exminster will stay closed through the weekend as police continue searching the area following the arrest of a man on Wednesday on suspicion of terrorism offences.

Searches are expected to continue throughout the weekend at the property in question. Searches are also continuing at the nearby wooded area.
“Road closures will be in place on some of the minor roads surrounding the wooded area and are also expected to remain in place throughout the weekend."

Bus drivers working for Stagecoach in Exeter could take industrial action over a move to a new bus depot.
The drivers are angry over rotas and other conditions which are being introduced when they move to the new out of town depot at Matford.
Union reps and bosses met this afternoon and new proposals are now being considered - a formal ballot for action won't take place while these negotiations continue.
A Stagecoach spokesman said: "We are currently making preparations for our depot relocation from the city centre to Matford which is taking place at the end of September.
"Naturally, the move entails a lot of logistical challenges which we are determined to get right.
"This is why we are discussing anything that affects our staff with them directly so we can listen to their suggestions and ensure, together, we agree solutions that work for everybody."

Sixteen people have been detained in Romania following a joint agency operation involving Zephyr, the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU).
Early morning raids were carried out in Prahava targeting a Romanian-based organised crime group which was involved in the trafficking of people into the UK for purpose of sexual exploitation and membership of an organised crime group.
Kate Garbers, managing director of charity Unseen, which supports survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking, said: "Unseen supported police forces across the South West as they visited brothels to identify potentially trafficked people. We welcome this action and the commitment to partnership working."

Work has started on the demolition of a derelict former community centre in Plymouth with plans for 27 starter homes on the site.
The former Whitleigh Community Centre, which has been disused for the past eight years and has been vandalised, is being demolished to help pave the way for new housing.
Councillor Steve Ricketts from Plymouth City Council said: "I am delighted that the demolition work has started on this building, which had become an eyesore over the years and had been subject to vandalism and anti-social behaviour after it closed in 2008."

People living near a Plymouth lake where an elderly couple died after their car plummeted into the water from the quayside have called for bollards to be put in place to prevent such a tragedy happening again.
A 75-year-old man and an elderly woman were pronounced dead in hospital yesterday after they had been pulled from their car.
The vehicle had fallen 20ft into the water at Hooe Lake. Social media has shown a picture of a man who made heroic efforts to free the couple from the car.
But although they were rescued after a major emergency services operation they could not be saved.
Details of the visit to Cornwall next week by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been released.
The visit takes place on 1-2 September and will begin at Truro Cathedral where the couple will meet representatives of the City and the cathedral.
From there they'll visit the Wave Project in Newquay, a charity that invovles local surfers helping young people with their mental health.
On the second day, their Royal Highnesses will be on the Isles of Scilly where they'll meet rowers from St Mary's Gig Club and visit a food festival. It's not thought they'll be bringing their children George and Charlotte.

A member of the gold medal-winning women’s hockey team is due to be at Devon's picturesque Hope Cove as part of a national sports day.
Giselle Ansley is set to attend 'I Am Team GB' - a collaboration between The National Lottery and ITV - where thousands of venues will open their doors for free, encouraging the nation to get out and get active and with the chance to meet some of their Olympic heroes.
Hope Cove is set to have a host of activities including beach volleyball, volleyball and live music.
Police have not yet formally identified the bodies of a man and a woman , externalwho died after the car they were in plunged 20ft into Hooe Lake - but have confirmed they were both elderly and from Plymouth.

Friends and loved ones have paid tribute to a "beautiful" 17-year-old girl who was killed in a car crash, external at the weekend.
An athlete has made his own prosthetic attachments to help him in his bid for a medal at the Paralympic Games.
A joiner by trade, the athlete was born without a left forearm.
David Hill, from Exmouth, was just 15 years old when he was selected as the youngest member of the British team in Athens in 2004.
He will be competing in the Paratriathlon in Rio.
