    The results of a review into the death of Burton toddler Ayeeshia Jane Smith have been delayed for several months.

    Kathryn Smith, 23, was sentenced to 24 years for the murder of the 21-month-old in April.

    Chris Cook, chair of Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Board, said it was now clear that examining all the evidence from the criminal trial would take longer than expected.

    "I understand the need for answers as this has been an extremely distressing case but it is important we give it the time it deserves to ensure the final report is as robust and fully informed as possible," he said.

    Burnaston-based Toyota is considering a legal complaint over Vote Leave's use of its company logo and trademarks.

    Toyota does not wish to enter the campaign and we fully respect that whether to remain or to leave the European Union (EU) is for the British people to decide. So we strongly object to this unauthorised use of our brand and the use of our name in the Vote Leave campaign. Furthermore, Toyota has already stated that 'we believe continued British membership of the EU is best for our operations and their long term competitiveness'."

  16. JCB boss in favour of Brexitpublished at 13:48 BST 9 June 2016

    The boss of East Staffordshire-based JCB has told his 6,500 staff he'll be voting to leave the EU. 

    Lord Bamford said in a letter that leaving wouldn't mean the company would stop trading with Europe but he says Britain can "stand on its own two feet". 

    He went on to say how his employees vote is a matter for them but he has urged them to turn out on 23 June.

    In March, JCB's parent company BMW emailed UK car workers at Rolls-Royce and Mini over "risks" of a vote to leave the EU.

  17. Missing: Police 'extremely concerned' over girl, 15published at 13:31 BST 9 June 2016

    Have you seen missing Taylar Hutchins?

    The 15-year-old, who was living in Leicestershire until recently, was last seen in Alfreton.

    Police said, external they believe she is with a man she knows, who picked her up in his vehicle.
