BBC Somerset reporter, at UWE
It was due to be a fairly routine event - Jacob Rees-Mogg was booked to speak to a few hundred students at a ticketed event.
He would've spoken for about half an hour and then was due to take questions.
Just a few minutes after he started speaking a group of protestors came into the back of the lecture theatre and started shouting anti-Conservative rhetoric, very loudly, trying to shout him down.
Rather than halting the event, or ignoring them, Mr Rees-Mogg walked up to the back of the theatre to try and talk them down.
At that point various other members of the audience got involved and that's when this scuffle happened.
It looked to me that Mr Rees-Mogg was actually pushed and shoved, although he insists he wasn't.
But it was a very aggressive and unexpected scene.
Image source, Highways EnglandSomerset County Council says there are "still too many questions" surrounding proposed improvements to the A358 trunk road.
Highways England is currently consulting on three new options for creating a dual carriageway between the M5 and the A303 in Somerset.
The authority said it was supportive of the need for improvements but called on Highways England to undertake "technical analysis, amendments and mitigations" before deciding on its preferred route for the section between West Hatch and Taunton.
Quote MessageAt the moment there are still too many questions and areas of uncertainty for us to identify a clear preferred option. However, we hope that by raising these issues at an early stage with Highways England they will be able to take measures to address these as the scheme progresses.
Councillor David Hall, Somerset County Council

Quote MessageIt was a difficult game when [we played Bolton] at home and they were reduced to 10 men. They were still catching up and evolving then. Now they're a really well-coached team. It is a tight pitch and it'll be a tough ask for us.
