    The number of teenage girls getting pregnant in Sandwell and Walsall are among the highest rates of teenage pregnancy in England and Wales.

    According to figures provided by the two local authorities Sandwell has a rate of 38.3% and Walsall 37.5% in 2014. 

    Nationally, the number of pregnant girls under the age of 18 in England and Wales fell to its lowest level since records began.

    Manager Gary Rowett says Birmingham were the victims of "inept officiating" in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Blackburn.

    Blues were denied a penalty when Clayton Donaldson appeared to be fouled by Ben Marshall just before Danny Graham doubled Blackburn's lead.

    The bodies of a man and a woman were found in a car in Bushbury, Wolverhampton, the ambulance service says.

    The bodies were found in Cat and Kittens Lane, close to a social club, at lunchtime.

    A dog was also found in the car and has been taken to a vet.

    Two men are on the run after a robbery at a bank in Aldridge this afternoon.

    West Midland Police tell me it happened at a 13:45 at the NatWest in Anchor Road.

    We're told staff were threatened and police are investigating whether they had a handgun. 

    Police say no-one was injured and the area's been cordoned off.

    A 41-year-old Birmingham gang leader who admitted supplying firearms has had his prison sentence extended to 22 years following a ruling by the Court of Appeal., external

    Nosakhere Stephenson (pictured left) was sentenced last year after he masterminded an operation to sell antique firearms and specially-made bullets to criminals.

    The Solicitor General appealed the sentences of Stephenson and 16 other gang members "because of the very serious nature of the offending".

    Stephenson, of St Michael’s Road, Handsworth, was jailed for 16-and-a-half years for conspiracy to supply guns had his sentenced increased by 5 and a half years.

    Sentences for 16 other gang members also increased, ranging from 11 months to nearly five years.

    Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson has criticised Wolves for "unsporting behaviour" before their winning goal in Tuesday's 2-1 victory at Molineux.

    Wolves kicked a drop-ball from close to their own box out for a throw-in deep inside the visitors' half after an injury to City midfielder Luke Freeman.

    The throw-in led to a free-kick for the hosts, which Matt Doherty headed in.

  12. 'Three child sex offences reported daily' in West Midlands last year, says charitypublished at 15:01 GMT 9 March 2016

    Around three child sex offences were reported to West Midlands Police every day over the last year, new figures from a charity suggest.

    The NSPCC says 1,265 were recorded in 2014/2015 which is an 8% drop compared to the previous year.

    Alan Wardle from the NSPCC says "it's only the tip of the iceberg" due to the number of unreported cases.

    A classic Mini will be unveiled at Longbridge in Birmingham, thanks to the artistic talents of one man.

    Artist Stuart Whipps is taking apart a 1979 Mini 1275 GT and rebuilding it in a glass cabin on the former MG Rover site.

    The public art project is designed to help record memories of what was once the home of British motor manufacturing.

    A dog has been removed from the car where two bodies were found and has been taken to a local vet to be checked over, West Midlands Police say.

    The area, in Cat and Kittens Lane, Bushbury, Wolverhampton, has been sealed off while inquiries are carried out. 

    Officers are currently in the process of tracing family members.

    A businessman fed up with men urinating outside his Black Country premises has put up a CCTV camera to film them and is posting the images on social media.

    Chris Norton, who is uploading the images to Twitter account @UrineWatch, external, said he was shocked to find it happening up to five times every day.

    The podiatrist runs a clinic in Bradford Street, Walsall, and said he had noticed men repeatedly using the wall outside his business as a toilet. 

    Walsall Council is investigating.

    Two bodies have been discovered in a car in Wolverhampton.

    West Midlands Police say they received a call to Cat and Kittens Lane in Bushbury at 12:30.

    The force hasn't released anymore details and it's not yet clear how the two people died.
