A Labour minister, a Conservative MP, and the leader of the Liberal Democrats are set to face a round of questioning by Victoria Derbyshire, who's stepping in for Laura Kuenssberg this morning.

As well as the panel of guests who'll be examining the politicians' answers, we'll hear from Health Secretary Wes Streeting, Conservative MP and shadow defence secretary James Cartlidge, and Liberal Democrats leader Ed Davey.

They'll all be hoping to make their case to the nation, as millions of voters will head to the polls in less than a month for the biggest set of elections since 2024.

In England, around 5,000 seats across 136 local councils will be up for grabs, while parliamentary elections are taking place in Scotland and the Welsh Senedd.

There are also likely to be questions on international affairs, as Iran-US peace talks in Islamabad failed overnight to produce a deal to end the war in the Middle East. You can follow our rolling live coverage of the conflict and peace talks over on our other page.
