Several people have been injured following strikes on central Israel, Israeli emergency services say.
Israeli police say three people have suffered minor injuries after a cluster bomb landed near them during a barrage of such bombs causing damage in several parts of Tel Aviv.
The force shared footage of a man staggering away after a blast hit the centre of a road spraying debris.
Cluster munitions are a method of dispersing large numbers of tiny bomblets from a rocket, missile or artillery shell that scatters them in mid-flight over a wide area.
Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's emergency services, report four people having been injured in the strikes, they say:
- A man aged about 60 is in moderate condition after suffering glass shard wounds to the head in the Bnei Brak area
- A man in his 70s is in a mild condition after suffering blast injuries in the Ramat Gan area
- Two women, aged 46 and 18, are both also in a mild condition suffering from ringing in the ears following a blast in the Petah Tikva area
We are working to establish if Israel Police and the MDA are referring to the same incident.
