
L'Wren Scott, a fashion designer and the girlfriend of Sir Mick Jagger, has been found dead in her New York City flat.

Scott founded her label in 2006 and has also designed for Banana Republic. She is seen here at her Fall/Winter 2012 collection launch during New York Fashion Week in February 2012.

The designer's creations were popular with celebrities. She is seen here with Naomi Campbell at a Cinema Against Aids gala event in Antibes, France, in 2010.

Nicole Kidman wore an embroidered Scott dress for the screening of the film Inside Llewyn Davis at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.

The designer, who launched her modelling career in her teens, was brought up in Utah as a Mormon.

Scott was a wardrobe consultant for films such as Eyes Wide Shut and Ocean's Thirteen. She attended a gala screening of The Rolling Stones - Crossfire Hurricane, in London
