Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week, the theme is Mozambique and we begin with Rozanna Poole's photo taken whilst on a six-week long holiday travelling the length of the country.

Geppetto Price: "Turning a corner we were confronted by a very long, straight road in Mozambique. I just had to make the driver stop and jump out to take a picture of the journey that lay ahead. This beautiful image has inspired me to continue taking pictures of open roads in every country I visit - 26 photos and still snapping."

Margaret Baillie: "Northern Mozambique along the shore of Lake Niassa is very beautiful and the people are very friendly, but very poor."

Naomi Bailey: "In the bustling city of Maputo these four schoolchildren were walking across the city to home after a busy day at school. They stopped a while with me and my friends for a quick game of football, chatting about their day."

Margaret Baillie: "Cooking the staple food Nshima is hard, hot work."

Bailey Price: "On a group tour of the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique I decided to wander alone to see what other wonders the island held and I came across this boat docked on the sandy shore."

Laura Shea: "During a trip to Mozambique my daughter wanted to buy some art and quickly had many sellers vying for her money."

Laura Shea: "We drove down a main street with many shops set up at the side of the road. This bedding shop is my favourite."

And finally a photo by Catherine Lewis: "New Year's Eve in Ponta d'Ouro. For many, just another night." The next theme is "On The Edge" and the deadline for your entries is 26 March.
