Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is Poland and we begin with a photo by Aneta Barnett of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Anna Mochnacka: "This picture was taken in the medieval old town of Torun, which is the birthplace of the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (or in Polish, Mikolaj Kopernik)."

Neil Petersen took this picture during a trip to Krakow in 2008.
Kasia Krempa: "Zalipie is a village in Poland famous for its unique folk art tradition, which is painting cottages, barns, wells and also interiors with colourful floral motifs. A competition called the Painted Cottage is organised every year in June."
Iwona Rutyna: "A thunderstorm approaching the beautiful old town of Gdansk, one of four Polish cities to host the 2012 European soccer championship. Hopefully there will be more amiable weather for the thousands of soccer fans and visitors to Gdansk during the championship period."
Malgosia Hobson: "The seafront in Sopot on the Baltic coast of Poland. It was -5C, and the steam coming out of the top of the old lighthouse added a fascinating detail."
Christopher Pigeon: "Poland is a nation of cakes. Here's a fine example of placek z morelami (apricot cake)."
Krisztian Hoffer: "I found this little fellow on a one-day trip (job interview) to Wroclaw. When I got home I learnt that there are 15 of these gnomes scattered around the old town. I wish I had seen all of them."
Agnieszka Siwicka: "A couple of magnificent storks I 'met' during a walk along an old railway."
Izabela Banasik: "A fantastic staircase inside a town house in Wroclaw, which is a city with very interesting history and the most beautiful old market square you could imagine."
Marc Paquet: "Chess matches in the park in Krakow on a sunny afternoon."
Nicholas Churchill: "Young Poles celebrating their wedding in Krakow's Market Square."
Tomasz Boinski: "A small footbridge in Bydgoszcz. I took this picture in the evening when it was foggy, almost like in London."
